Regained: Day 73, The Bone Witch
Sharable: a small bottle of absinthe (drink!) [1/2 uses]
What's in the memory: Pretty much what it says on the tin. IT IS ADORABLE AND FULL OF DERE FOR SHISHOU. Also cute things like interactions with his peers (Haru, Kagura, Yuki and the like...), hiding behind things and staring at Shishou until he noticed him. Things like that. Black-belt level martial arts, and while better than Haru, not as good as Yuki. DREAMS OF TAKING OVER THE DOJO--oh wait... 8(

So when Kyou was a tiny thing, after being adopted by Shishou, he apparently ran into this orange haired lady that just started talking to him or something. Anyway, little by little Kyou starts to slowly like and trust the orange-haired lady. She talks to him like a normal person, doesn't treat him or see him any differently. She talks about herself, mostly. Relating to him instead of forcing it the other way 'round. Her name was Honda Kyouko, a single mom who used to be part of a gang in high school but dropped out of the gang and out of school to marry the love of her life, an old teacher of hers much to the disapproval of her parents. Honda Katsuya was the one who gave her life purpose and meaning and eventually they had a child together, Tohru.
Except then Katsuya died and things were hard and Kyouko almost didn't survive the loss. But Tohru kept her there and she's a determined person. Kyou doesn't exactly understand all the adult stuff in the memory and whatnot, but he knows a lot of the feelings of loss and pain and things of that nature.
Kyouko's backstory is from Chapter 90, page 13 till about Chapter 93, page 17
Effects:

- ... wow, he was a brat in that memory. yeah, that happened
- oh yeah, and in other memory, he remembers she's dead
- he still really liked Kyouko 8(
- that sort of familial love is strange and different and this can't be what NORMAL people experience... can it?
- god, Tohru's going to be sad and alone back home, NEED TO GET BACK HOME
